*What is "Vintage" Astarte?
"Vintage" Astarte pieces are gently worn items chosen from our customers' closets (clean and on hangers) that were brought to Astarte to find new homes at bargain prices. We tag and price the items (usually about 50%- 60% off the original price) and put it on the floor right then for shoppers to try. When the item sells, the customer who brought in the "vintage" piece gets the entire amount of the selling price in Astarte Bucks (store credit) to use to buy herself something new from the store! The woman buying that item gets a great value and something new to her. Everybody wins! (You don't have to bring a vintage piece to shop -- come check out the great deals!) |
Here's an email we received from a very happy Astarte customer following our January Vintage event:
"Dearest Jennifer,
Just wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for having your Vintage sale this last weekend. I was so excited to be able to get so many of your beautiful designs at such amazing prices!!! My friend and I had a great time with you and all the other customers!
I have never received so many compliments. Both on Sunday at a brunch with former co-workers and here at the office today.
